pub struct HandlesSignedExtension<T: Config + Send + Sync>(/* private fields */);
Expand description
The TransactionExtension trait is implemented on CheckFreeExtrinsicUse to validate the request. The purpose of this is to ensure that the retire_handle extrinsic cannot be repeatedly called to flood the network.
Implementations§
Source§impl<T: Config + Send + Sync> HandlesSignedExtension<T>
impl<T: Config + Send + Sync> HandlesSignedExtension<T>
Sourcepub fn validate_retire_handle(
delegator_key: &T::AccountId,
) -> TransactionValidity
pub fn validate_retire_handle( delegator_key: &T::AccountId, ) -> TransactionValidity
Validates the following criteria for the retire_handle() extrinsic:
- The delegator must already have a MSA id
- The MSA must already have a handle associated with it
Returns a ValidTransaction
or wrapped pallet::Error
§Errors (as u8 wrapped by InvalidTransaction::Custom
)

Frequently called by the transaction queue to validate all free Handles extrinsics:
Returns a ValidTransaction

- retire_handle
Validate functions for the above MUST prevent errors in the extrinsic logic to prevent spam.

Source§type Implicit = ()
type Implicit = ()
Any additional data which was known at the time of transaction construction and can be
useful in authenticating the transaction. This is determined dynamically in part from the
on-chain environment using the
implicit
function and not directly contained in the
transaction itself and therefore is considered “implicit”.Source§type Pre = Pre

§fn implicit(&self) -> Result<Self::Implicit, TransactionValidityError>
fn implicit(&self) -> Result<Self::Implicit, TransactionValidityError>
Determine any additional data which was known at the time of transaction construction and
can be useful in authenticating the transaction. The expected usage of this is to include in
any data which is signed and verified as part of transaction validation. Also perform any
pre-signature-verification checks and return an error if needed.

but instead of executing the call, execute
substitute
instead. Since this doesn’t actually
dispatch the call, it doesn’t need to consume it and so call
can be passed as a reference.§impl<T> EncodeAs<T> for Twhere
